The Indonesian AID Scholarship (TIAS) is a prestigious initiative by Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance, aiming to foster global partnerships and contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Established in October 2019, TIAS has been instrumental in enhancing international cooperation through education, offering comprehensive support to civil servants from various countries.
This scholarship covers all essential aspects of a student’s academic journey, including tuition fees, accommodation, health insurance, monthly stipends, and allowances for research and international seminars. Additionally, recipients receive a round-trip airfare and visa assistance, ensuring a seamless transition to studying in Indonesia.
The program collaborates with 12 leading Indonesian universities, such as Universitas Indonesia (UI), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), providing a diverse range of academic disciplines. This partnership not only enhances the educational experience but also promotes cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Indonesia and the participating countries.
Conditions:
Program Duration:
Diploma Equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree: Maximum 8 semesters.
Bachelor’s Degree: Maximum 8 semesters.
Master’s Degree: Maximum 4 semesters.
Post-Graduation Commitment: Recipients are required to return to their home country and serve in the government/public service sector for at least two
years.
