The Syria Joint Scholarship Program is a specialized initiative under Türkiye Scholarships, designed to support Syrian students affected by conflict. It offers comprehensive financial and academic assistance to pursue undergraduate, master’s, or Ph.D. degrees in Turkey. The program aims to empower Syrian youth through education, fostering future leaders who can contribute to the reconstruction and development of their communities. This initiative reflects Turkey’s commitment to humanitarian support and regional stability

 

 

 

  • Monthly Stipend:

    • Undergraduate: 800 TRY

    • Master’s: 1,100 TRY

    • Ph.D.: 1,600 TRY

  • Additional Benefits:

    • One-time round-trip airfare

    • Free accommodation in university dormitories

    • Comprehensive health coverage

    • Free Turkish language course for one year

    • Access to academic, social, and cultural facilities

Elegiblity
  • Nationality: Syrian citizens or stateless individuals residing in Syria or neighboring countries.

  • Education Level: Graduates or those who will graduate by the end of the current academic year.

  • Age Limits:

    • Undergraduate: Under 21 years

    • Master’s: Under 30 years

    • Ph.D.: Under 35 years

  • Academic Achievement:

    • Undergraduate: Minimum 70% average

    • Graduate: Minimum 75% average

    • Health Sciences: Minimum 90% average

  • Health: No health problems that would impede education in Turkey.

  • Current Status: Not currently enrolled in a Turkish university at the level of education they are applying for

  • Full-Time Programs:

    • Undergraduate

    • Master’s

    • Ph.D.

    • Valid passport or national ID

    • Recent academic transcripts

    • Diploma or temporary certificate of graduation

    • Letter of intent/personal statement

    • Two recommendation letters

    • Research proposal (for Ph.D. applicants)

    • Proof of language proficiency (if applicable)

    • Recent photograph (taken within the last 6 months)

    • National exam scores (if applicable)

    Note: All documents must be in PDF, JPEG, PNG, or GIF formats, not exceeding 5 MB each, and must be scanned legibly.
